Bullied into the Sleeve

So I’m super excited that I have my surgery date... April 16th!! I do have one thing I want to talk about. The few people I have talked to have tried convincing me into getting the sleeve. They all have various reasons but it’s bothering me! I don’t know what the real motive is for this.

Ignore others opinions! Yall should stick with the decision you have made if you feel its best for you. I don't really understand why some people feel their solution should be yours as well. Best of luck ladies

Everybody is going to have an opinion unfortunately. I myself got the RNY is struggled between doing that and the sleeve. And I just weighed the pros and cons for the future. Like in the long run which side affects of surgery could have the greatest impact. SO the sleeve has a higher risk of acid reflux. My mom gets that really bad as she’s gotten older so I figured if that was to be later in life I wanted to try to nip that in the butt and do he gastric bypass instead. I’m 3 days post op right now. Happy with my choice. I’d say just do that will work best for you. It’s your body.
