  11. Okay everyone, PLEASE WEIGH IN! Recently I have started talking to a man I REALLY, REALLY LIKE! Our timing has always been off. Now, for the first time in over a decade we are both single! He doesn't even know that I got fat. I never posted fat pics of me on my social media.... so nobody knows. I haven't sent him any recent pics and I feel awful about it. I feel like a big fat liar! No pun intended [emoji23]?[emoji23]We live on opposite sides of the country. Im going to be moving back to my hometown this Spring. Should I tell him I got fat and then have had the surgery? I have always cared for him. We have even discussed marriage... we aren't getting any younger. PLEASE HELP! I need some perspective
  12. Hi Thom and welcome to the group. Let's start with the basics first. Give your Doctor a call and get some anti-nausea medicine. As far as you being emotional that is normal to have post operatively. If it continues you may need to speak with your doctor about it. Your body has been through a lot physically, your life has been turned upside down. Adjusting to a new "normal" will be challenging. Your wife is likely feeling the pressure of the additional responsibility she isn't used to. She is also adjusting to your new normal. Maybe a compromise is in order. Instead of "cooking", make them sandwiches or something else that doesn't require cooking. I think that having a candid discussion with her may be in order. Choose a time of day that she isn't stressed and have a discussion. Or... tell her you would like to have a chat with her and ask her when the best time is. I agree with the others that she is not being very nice. However, before doing something as drastic as divorce, try to solve the problem. If you need a professional to help, get one. You have children and they deserve for you to try all other avenues before giving up. A therapist or counselor may also be able to teach your wife how to express her feelings appropriately. I hope this helps you, good luck and best wishes.
  13. That is a great tip! Im going to start measuring today!
  14. Current 230 Goal: eek I forgot. [emoji31]
  15. That is really sad. Some people don't seem to have it in them to be genuinely happy for others. Jealousy maybe. Well I am more than happy to say CONGRATS! Im sure you look fantastic!!! ?
  16. Ignore others opinions! Yall should stick with the decision you have made if you feel its best for you. I don't really understand why some people feel their solution should be yours as well. Best of luck ladies
  17. Its tacky but not an "insult". They were saying you're hot in a super cheesy way. There is no shortage of loser guys, crazy guys and stupid guys out there. At least the one had to good sense to be embarrassed and walk away ashamed. Some guys act a fool and talk a bunch of mess... then go home to their wives and act TOTALLY different [emoji849] LAME. Sorry you had to deal with these jerks. It sounds like your gym has a lot of good people and these three were the exception, not the rule.
  18. OMG Im so sorry! May I ask.... what happened? I hope you get better soon and are home and comfortable. 5' 5" HW: 259 CW: 230 GOAL: Healthy
  19. Going to repeat what everyone has said here. Sorry [emoji4] It really isn't you or your size. I was tiny, very fit, bikini model [emoji15] But some guys still acted like jerks! Go out on a date and they expect you to sleep with them, give me a break. It is not you... its them. Keep at it, Im sure we will both find a good one 5' 5" HW: 259 CW: 230 GOAL: Healthy
  20. Holy Crap! No words [emoji23]?[emoji23]?[emoji23]?[emoji23]? But.... theres no shortage of people freaking out for zero reason.
