December Surgery Dates

I’m scheduled for my bypass on December 4th. Is anyone else having their surgery in December? I’m nervous but excited!

We have the same date!! I'm so nervous yet super excited. I can't believe after all this time it's finally happening! The 4th cannot get here fast enough. I'll be having the sleeve done.

I'm the same way, excited and nervous. It's been a long, challenging journey to this point. I'll be having a gastric bypass done.

I'm also very nervous, scared, happy, worried, doubtful, relieved, hopeful, etc. I have been waiting for so long and never thought that it would actually happen. Now that I'm scheduled for the gastric bypass on Dec 18 it just got REAL!!! Good luck to everyone.

I'm not scheduled yet. I've got my pre-op testing on 12/11 and my pre-op visit with the surgeon on the 13th. Despite that, his office has told me I'd be scheduled within a couple of weeks and, when I asked, said that Christmas week is a a reasonable expectation if I want to do it then as they expect it to be a quiet week. Soooooo, that's what I'm targeting!

I am excited!!! 12/12 is my surgery date. I have been trying to get on the schedule and jumped through all my hoops for the past 2 1/2 years (My file got lost twice) This is my Christmas present to myself.
