Pain Medicine and dosage

I’m four days out and currently on Lortab 5’s. I’m still really uncomfortable. Especially at night! I feel like if I take two of them instead of one, that it could mean way too much Tylenol throughout the day. What pain medicines were you prescribed and what dosage? I’m calling my doctor tomorrow to see if I can change it since the pain is still pretty bad.

Ugh night time was the worst for me. Thankfully we have recliners and I slept in it for two weeks. I just said to my husband today “what do people do who don’t have a recliner and have to sleep flat” because the pain was unbearable even with my meds the first week when I was lying flat. I was perceived Oxycodine. I started out taking 10ml then went to 5ml. I stopped taking pain meds about 9 days post op. Good luck.
