Same date here and there's at least one other person on here with that date also. Where are you from?

I am November 14th, from NY!

Where in NY? I'm TOMORROW!! wow typing that kinda makes me wanna cry. Not sure why, as I have not been nervous at all. Trying to just stay positive. I'm upstate NY.

Your surgery is almost here! Will be thinking of you. I’m in Rockland County, how about you?

Columbia County. Which is in the middle of nowhere LOL So maybe easier to say outside of Albany County.

I hope your surgery went well and you recover smoothly!!!

So glad to have found this group!!! I was sleeved Monday 11/6. Doctor Yu is my surgeon here in Houston, TX. I had some issues in recovery other than that it was a great experience. My pain was kept under control while there...not sure how it will be at home. I will definitely be finding out soon as I get to go home today!!!

Oh best wishes!! I'm sure you'll do fine! Keep us posted on how you are doing.

I'm today at 1pm. Long morning so far. I'm starving and kinda weak/tired from clear liquids only. Have a pretty decent headache. It's 7:30 am and don't need to leave for hospital until 11:15. Think I'll quilt a bit and keep my mind off. My husband is making sausage and eggs and I am having hard time with smell I'm so hungry LOL. I'm not nervous YET. Just want it over with. I'm keeping positive.

Best of luck to everyone getting surgery today! We are here for you for support! Keep us posted on how you're doing, post sleevers too who just had it done yesterday and Monday!

I get sleeved in 2 days, 11/8. I was not nervous at all but starting to be. I'm a planner and I keep going over my planning, my "recipes" to get in enough protein etc. I'm concerned about drinking enough water. It's not that I can't or don't already (I typically drink anywhere from 80-100 ozs day now) but I drink in gulps. Like a cup or more at a time. Then an hr or so and another huge gulp. BECAUSE OF WORK. It's so intense and I could be involved in something and just ignore everything else. I've tried to sip sip thru the day and so far have failed. I have a week off of work after my surgery and I'm hoping to "learn" the sip every few mins process. So that when I go back, I'll have that under my belt so to speak. There is an app called HY that I'm hoping will help me. I've set it up to remind me every 15 mins. I just need to NOT IGNORE IT!!! The nurse that is in charge of me getting to surgical point and afterward told me that any readmits are due to dehydration esp in the first week or so. We are getting IV hydration in hospital, so once released, it's all up to us. So that's my fear, I'm definitely NOT going to be a readmit because of hydration!!

Good luck today !
