Needing to loose 10 pounds

I'm pre-op and need to loose 10 pounds. My surgery should be within the next month or two and I'm freaking out they won't do the surgery. What would be the best way to loose this. I need HELP!!

I agree that there needs to be a balance between exercise and amount of calories. It is sometimes a hard balance to achieve when you are less then a year out from WLS. I am going through this now myself with wanting to increase my running mileage, but not able to eat much more then 1200 calories.

Everyone's bodies respond differently though. I went and had my RMR tested and right now my metabolism does not appear to be negatively effected by the amount of exercise I am doing. I am still losing an average of 3 pounds per week eating 1000-1200 calories and running 15-20 miles a week.
