I was Sleeved July 26th

Recommended Posts

I'm 3 days post-op and feeling kind of light headed when I take a walk. Also, I feel a little pressure in the new stomach area when I drink. I never experience some many hungry pains in my life. Is all this normal.

I was sleeved on March 30,2017. When I came home I was feeling weird at first I wasn't hungry always thought I was. I strained so much thought I had to use the bathroom but to make a long story short I started to hemorrhage I was put in the hospital 3 more days. I was so used to eating and going to restroom. It's sometimes in are head we have to train us mentally and physically we have been doing what we want for so long I myself tore my body up so now I'm retraining me. You just had surgery you have to rest because this surgery will wear you out. And your not putting much in your body. My doctor gave me B12 to inject every month myself for energy but I need them twice a month so I'm going to ask him for 2 B12 injection a month if you have any question just ask I'll try and answer to the best of my ability

I was sleeved on 7/24. Today is my first day I am feeling more normal. Every sip I take I can feel and I did feel dizzy and weak the first few days after I got home from the hospital. I think in a day or 2 you will be feeling much better .

@Dimples58 i had pressure too. I guess with all the gas from the op.

Sleeved on 25 July. First couple of days was nauseous and bloated from the op. Now that im home i just feeling a bit of sore at incisions. My main issue is getting my Water in. It takes me forever to finish my 300ml Protein milk. I take on average of 2hrs. Shortest i took is 1.5hrs to finish the 300ml. And before i know it, it's time for another glass of my protein milk!
I do hope it gets better in time. I foresee myself being very dehydrated if this keeps on as i forget to drink my water while trying to finish my milk.

I also have to burp every few gulps and i have been passing alot of air and loose bowels. Is this all normal???

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
