I work in a school, so I scheduled my surgery for the Seventh of July in2014 and went back to work end of August. I was glad I took that time off, just for the food piece. It was five weeks before I was eating solid food

My work won't allow me back because my doctor asked for accommodation to make sure I stay hydrated and my work is asking exactly how often I need to drink and for how long.

Anyone run into trouble trying to go back to work?

I had my sleeve the 7/19 they gave me till sept 4 so I'm taking it ... it's only been 3 days but I'm soar and trying to do my clear liquids so hard

I took off a week. I work from home and on the computer. Though, my first few days back, my manager let me leave early because I was in some pain and there were too many people working. After that, I felt just fine. So, I would say 2 weeks is probably a good amount of time.
