I had my RNY on 6/26, so a little under two weeks post op.
Doing great eating soft foods. I eat about 2 oz protein and 1 or less than 1 oz veg or fruit per meal.
Shakes are my snacks )1/2 shake per snack).
I am consuming about 400 cal per day. One day I was just under 60 g protein and a few other days I meet the protein requirement.
I have only been getting 5-7 g of fiber. No doubt, I cannot even eat a full strawberry in one meal.
Should I be worried? How am I supposed to get my fiber up eating so little in veg or fruit?
Even protein is hard to get. I feel like I have to eat "fast" in 20 minutes to eat 2oz so I get all the protein.
Mid this normal so early when I cannot eat much?
