June 27th sleever...nervous!

I was so excited, I wanted this! Now the day is tomorrow and I'm extremely nervous. Not sure why, but I'm having lots of weird emotions.

Any advice?

That's so great to here that your doing well. It's day 2 for me and I am hoping to learn from others going thru this

I am 12 days post op. Here is my fluid intake, from what i can recall:

Post op day 0, 1, & 2: was very sick while in hospital, only IV fluids.

Day 2-3: only able to take small sips, they let me go home on day 3 once I was able to keep down 300ml. Attempted sips of protein.

Day 4: intake improved. Watching clock, making sure to sip every 10-15min. Tolerating fluid and protein well.

Day 5 -7: intake significantly improved, by day 7 able to get down two 11oz protein shakes a day AND 1.5 liters fluid.

It is now day 12 and I have a pretty good routine. I'm able to drink over 2 liters of fluid a day from my bottle plus able to have 1-2 cups of broth during the day, plus able to drink 3-4 protein a day.

Still on clear liquid diet.
Taking approx 72 mg protein/day
Total liquid intake, well over the recommended 64oz. Can probably drink about 4 oz of broth over a 10-15 min period. Down 20 lbs!
