Diflucan pre op?

I am scheduled for bypass on the 6th. I have an itchy situation going on down there. My primary has prescribed me diflucan. Has anyone taken this is close to surgery? I do have an email out to my bari team but they likely won't get back until tomorrow...and my bits aren't happy.

I took it 5 days post-op. Developed due to the antibiotics given during surgery. My doctor didn't bat an eye.

At this point, you are a little short of 2 weeks out....I would think it would be OK.

After my band surgery back in 2011 I had to take friggin diflucan for 5 day plus cream all over my body in every nook and cranny. Not sure what kind of antibiotics were used but yeasties exploded all over my body [emoji15]

No, I'm pre op. Don't want to take anything that can delay my date.
