When does it seem to happen? When walking? When putting pressure on your elbows? Or just anytime without a cause?

If it's anytime, you may have an electrolyte imbalance, and should get checked out.

Regardless, run it by your doc.

Talk to your doc. I have experienced numb hands and numb legs and on occasion, numb face. I tracked it down with my PCP to a low B vitamin level. As long as I take my B12, I do OK.

Has anyone had any experiences with numbness in the hands? I'm 4weeks post op rny and I've been noticing it the last could days.

Yes. Lots of numb areas not just hands... doc said it was lack of B vitamins... I took the B complex and it’s helped a lot - although it takes a week to kick in.
