Post Op - going back to work

Hello, I was wondering what the average time off was for post op? I've heard most people go back after a week or two depending on what they do, and just wanted to see if anyone else had longer periods ? I am trying to decide on whether or not I should ask to apply for the short term disability pay :)

Thank you :)

That is great! I am hoping to have it sooner than later because I'm going away for the holiday season, and just want to make sure than I will be able to digest a bite or two of solid food and don't need to take an extra suitcase of protein powders lol

They said the insurance company doesn't usually take a long time to respond but I'll feel better having a solid date [emoji4]

I did two weeks. I work a desk job. I was fine.
