Weight lost, measurements larger. Is it bloating? Is it a different body composition?

Hi everyone! I had the sleeve on May 9th (9 days ago). So far, I'm down 19 pounds in 10 days (no doubt some of this is from some extra water weight I had before surgery). So what I'm wondering is: why is my waist 2 inches wider than it was than the last time I was at this weight (only a few months ago)? None of my measurements seem to have changed more than an inch since surgery. Could I still have gas or retained water from surgery? Can you lose muscle and change your body composition so significantly in only a few weeks?

As a side question: What did you do to start exercising? I'm reluctant to go straight back to the cardio and strength training routines I had prior to surgery because I don't want to hurt myself. I'm walking a few minutes several times a day right now. What did you do in the beginning and how did you amp it up?

First few weeks can Ben up and down due to rapid change. As far as exercise I try to walk as much as possible but I'm going to start lifting weights soon and cardio

The swollen abdomen can last for quite a while. I'm 8 weeks out and my bruising has finally faded for the most part. The swelling went down a while ago. Maybe 4 weeks out.
