Vitamins through Insurance

Hello All!

Has anyone gotten their vitamins and supplements through their insurance? My nutritionist and surgeon sent in a prescription to my insurance for "Nutrition DIrect". With insurance they are $25 a month and mailed directly to my house each month. They were recommended because of their B12 nasal spray. I am very curious to see how this all works out. They will be sent the week before surgery, so everything will be good to go.

Very curious to see if other RNYers have dealt with them.

Can you tell me more about vitamin supplements for discount through insurance? What is it called and where do I look.
And you should try Insure Nutrition for discount protein shakes through insurance

Did you get approved with insure nutrition? They sent the information to my insurance, but I have yet to hear back. I don't think I'll get approved though. I was reading my benefits and it states that they don't cover nutritional supplements. Does insure nutrition bill a certain way to get them approved?
