Banded Oct 4th

Well it’s on , only 5 incisions and my Dr. told my wife that it was text book operation. I am bit sore; the pain med is working on that though. And I am now noticing some gas pain walking around is the only thing that helps. Was in bed for a while once I got home but getting up is no fun so I pace around. Liquids are no problem I can’t wait to be off of the clear liquid and can add some soups and slim fast back into my diet.

I know exactly how you feel. I was banded on the 3rd and everything went really well. Like you, I am pacing my house due to gas/wind pain. Fluids are going down no problem. Thank goodness for the painkillers cause they have helped heaps.

I can't believe all the build up to the operation is over and I am now officially banded - what a great feeling.

I am so glad to hear everything went well. I am leaving for my surgery in an hour. My stomach is so nervous. I can't wait to get this part over, I keep wanting to chicken out.

congrats newly banded buddies!!! walk, walk and walk some more!

wishing you all quick healing and a smooth journey!!

Nume130 - it will be all over before you know it - good luck and congratulations on the best decision of your life.

Congrats New Bandsters :)

Keep us updated, as I've still just over 2 weeks to go. Its all still pretty scary!
