March sleevers hows everyone doing??

Right there with you on the Water and the Protein thoughts. I don't count anything. Been there, done it on other "diets" and at my age (69) I just don't want to take that on. I'd rather just follow good nutrition rules and do my best to stay healthy. I am feeling fine, not one problem to report at 8 weeks out. Steady 2 pound per week loss now and just living my life, much happier!!

I agree! I'm just trying to focus on getting in enough nutrition throughout the day .

I had surgery on Mar. 16 and have lost 22 lbs since then (45 lbs total)

I'm thrilled with my loss. I just had a week long "plateau" but the scale is moving again :)

I am getting 800-1000 calories a day and consistently hit 60-70g Protein. Fluids are good too. So far I don't have any aversions (well, Protein Shakes gag)...

We are almost exactly the same! I was sleeved 3/15. I have lost 23 since surgery and 38 total. I have been at a standstill for a couple of weeks now but saw my surgeon this past Monday and he said it's normal and he was happy with how it was going. I just ate 1000 calories today and I was so happy to see your post that you are doing the same. I am able to eat all my protein and am no longer doing protein shakes. Wish you the best of luck!! :)

Sure! I will give you yesterday's stats:
Meal 1 (9am) Fiber One Bar and 3 slices of turkey bacon
Meal 2 (11:30am) half of a turkey burger with mustard and half slice of cheese
Meal 3 (3pm) other half of turkey burger with mustard and half slice of cheese
Meal 4 (6:00pm) 3 oz shredded chicken and black Beans with taco seasoning and 1/2 tablespoon shredded cheese
Meal 5 (8:30pm) 3 oz shredded chicken and black beans with taco seasoning and 1/2 tablespoon shredded cheese

801 Calories
96 grams of protein
24 grams of carbs
6 grams of fiber
1O grams of sugar
35 grams of fat

I don't normally eat that much protein in a day but I am really hungry because I am on my period. (Sorry if TMI!) Hope this helps!

I was sleeved March 22nd. I'm down twenty pounds since then. Eating has been going great (haven't regurgitated at all), drinking wise I'm still a little behind on my goals because I'm not sipping as often as I need to. Back to swimming three times a week and that's going great. I'm very happy with my progress. Nobody has yet noticed I've lost weight because it's going quite slowly, but I don't mind, because I know I'm wayyyyy smaller than I started!

Even when the scale stops I keep feeling better.

I'm down 22lbs since surgery. 5.5 weeks out.

I haven't started working out yet. Even walking is hit and miss. I notice my body DEMANDS I get up and move more and more.

Only weird thing is the feeling of having a lump in my throat that I'm constantly trying to swallow. Kinda like thick mucous or something. Is that from acid?

No. Just the patty. I buy butterball frozen patties and cook in a skillet with olive oil spray.

How long does it take you to eat three slices of turkey bacon? I can eat one slice of bacon and two bites of egg in one sitting. The uncomfortable feeling I get when I'm full turns me off from eating.

Absolutely! My biggest loss was first 14 days, I was struggling to get in liquids & then I stopped seeing scale move. I could feel that I was smaller, like I was shedding inches. THe three week stall broke and I'm 3 pds away from onederland. 😂 I'm six weeks out now

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
