  11. Next week I will be 6 months out, I have lost 88 pounds and feeling great, still only about to eat about 3-4 ounces. Have chest days every now and then but everything is on track. I have a love hate relationship with my decision bc sometimes I feel so restricted but then I look at this and now I can run with my kid and play and not get out of breath!
  12. I eat them daily for lunch I cut them in half and load them down with meat! I am 5 1/2 months out, 88 pounds down. Sw 256 Cw 169 Gw 150

  17. I am about 5 months out, and I had such thick hair, I have about half my hair to, and still losing it, I am afraid it will keep going, so we share that as well. I mean when I am in the shower it wraps around my hands, let me tell you I worry about it everyday. But no matter what we do it will happen, but hopefully it won't last long!!
  18. I was sleeve 3/17 and I am 76 pounds down, have another 30 pounds to go, I hope to meet my goal by the end of the year, I eat very little, I try and get all my protein in most days. The problem I struggle with the most is getting my fluid intake in.

  21. You don't need to weigh everyday, you will be discouraged, I weigh every two weeks. Also just bc you had this surgery doesn't mean your going to lose 10 pounds in a week every week. You didn't gain all your weight over night, your not going to lose it over night. Sw 256 Cw 185 Surgery 3/17/17
  22. Thank you!!!!! I honestly didn't think my relationship with food would take such a drastic turn, but I know it's for the better.
  23. I was sleeved in March 17,2017, it has been a roller coaster of why did I do this to myself, then I have moments when I step on the scale and thank the lord I did this.
  24. I am almost 5 weeks out and I am just now feeling like myself, I had a hernia repair as well, so it's been rough several weeks, it will get better.
  25. Does anyone else have this problem, everything I eat seems to get stuck in my chest or that is what it feels like. I am two weeks post op and it just seems like everything I eat gets stuck. I also had a hiatal hernia repair along with the sleeve. Anybody else??
  26. Stop weighing yourself every day, pick a day of the week then weigh once a week. The same day every week. Now with this being said, your body is trying to hold on to everything right now bc we are not giving our body anything in return. Our bodies are in shock right now and does not know what to do. The first month or so after surgery weight loss should not be your concern. It should be about healing and taking care of your body and getting ready for this life changing event. Stay off the scale everyday! You will not lose anything stressing your already stressed out body.
  27. Thank y'all, it has been a tough day for sure, and the pain is excruciating at times, but I know it's worth it.
  28. I am sitting in my hospital room, getting ready to have surgery , feeling really nervous but ready for this. It's been a long time coming, wish me luck!!!
  29. Just finished my pre op appointment, started my liquid diet on Monday and have already lost 5 pounds. Lost 18 since the September 2016. My surgery is march 17, getting nervous. I have a great support system, my husband is the best, I have only told a hand full of people, did anyone else not tell your whole family I just told my mom, dad sister and in laws. I have a huge family and I know they are going to ask what I did, anyone else stuck about what to say??? P.s liquid diet sucks!
