Yes, you've just had MAJOR surgery, so your body is having to make lots of adjustments! I was about 6 weeks before I really felt GOOD. Then I felt better than I have felt in YEARS!!!! Hang in there.

I'm 6 days out and cannot wait to feel better and have energy. It's nice to see people say to hang in there and it'll happen soon!

My BFFs are both MDs & they both told me that it takes the body time to adjust to operating at such a significant calorie deficit. Your body was used to operating on a significantly higher budget.

Hi all. I'm three weeks out and wondering when I can expect some of my energy to come back. I feel totally wiped out and sluggish all the time. I'm getting in plenty of Protein, Water, and supplements, and I'm walking a lot, but I haven't been able to start lifting weights like I wanted to because I can barely summon the energy to lift anything. What gives? Is this normal?
