Does anyone else have this problem, everything I eat seems to get stuck in my chest or that is what it feels like. I am two weeks post op and it just seems like everything I eat gets stuck. I also had a hiatal hernia repair along with the sleeve. Anybody else??

Im 2 weeks post op and had the hiatal hernia repair too. The first days i felt justbas you described but it does get better. And i just had my followup and my doc said its normal that it hurts im the area where the hernia was repaired because of the swelling within. Hope you feel better soon!

I had the hernia repair too and I'm still a little tender... I'm only 10 days post op and was just cleared to eat puree foods. What types of things are you eating?

I was told you could use the strips. But i had no need foe them since i chose to stay oit of bed the majority of the time and walk it off. But you can try them it wont hurt tp do so. Im just starting on my pureed on saturday :( and im so ready! I would love to hear some tips of pureed foods that have been good options!!

You could be eating to fast!

Hi I had the hernia repair as well. I am 3 months out and am not able to drink or eat much. I keep heartburn and vomit often. They have given me so many kinds of meds to help. Nothing seems to help.
