Insurance Approval

I have a way to look at my auths online. It was in Medreview and now it says PEND. Most everything I have seen goes straight from review to approved. What does this mean??

It means pending... in other words they are reviewing and deciding it hasn't been approved or denied as of yet

Just curious- did you have to do a pre op diet? I'm worried about dipping below 40 BMI and not being approved. I see that you were approved, but did you have any issues with that?

No I havent had to do a pre op diet yet. I do believe I will have to only do a 2-3 day liquid diet right before surgery. My BmI is 36.8 and I was approved through my ins.
