Ive had vsg the same day & ive hit a stall. Ive lost 50lbs so far. I am currently looking for a gym to maximize by weight loss journey. Hopefully that will kick this fat in gear

just stay on plan and wait it out. It will break as long as you stick to your plan. I went through that many times..

I had my first stall at 3ish weeks it lasted a couple of weeks. I am almost 6 weeks post op and stepped on the scale and am down 5 pounds since last wed! From my understanding stalls are all aboard of the journey. The faster you lose, your body is going to need to keep up and/or adjust.

I am almost 6 weeks out. I have only lost 10 lbs, since week 2. I was having problems getting my protein and water in and I stayed costipated. I went to my support group on 811th. They told me what to do. I guess I am in a stall. It is depressing. I would love to lose faster. I am only on full liquids.

How long are bypass patients on liquids. I am VSG and we switched to soft mushy foods the 2nd week post op

depends on the surgeon. I was on puree before leaving the hospital. Switched to soft foods week three (or four), as I recall...

I had a bypass 2-6. 2 wks prior to surgery I was on a high protein diet only protein shake 2xday and 4 oz protein and veges for my meal wasn't excited about that a good start loss 10lbs prior to surgery. Liquid only day of and 2 days post op purée for 4 weeks. Then soft for weeks. A day o did not adhere and had a bite or 2 of a shrimp and I paid for it. I am sure I plugged my pouch I had severe abdominal pain for 12hr and threw up at least twice. Follow the plan. At about week 3-4 I plateau but it turned around I am down 39lbs. I feel I'm behind but not gaining
