Surgery glue

I'm 6 days post op and I'm itching. I know it's a mix of healing and the glue. The incisions aren't infected but the area around the glue is red.

I'm so ready for the glue to come off.

How long did it take for the glue to come off and what did you do to keep it from irritating the skin?

    I don't remember the skin around the glue being red just iodine discoloration. My glue started peeling after about a week. It was totally gone after about 3 weeks. It definitely got itchy. It also pinched me for a few days when the swelling went down. If it's really really itchy and red you may want to call your doctor to confirm you aren't having a reaction.
