Clothes for right before surgery that fit now

Hey all... my surgery is scheduled for May 18th and right now I have 4 jeans that fit comfortably and 1 that's a little tight but I can manage and about 10 shirts. I'm on the fence on whether I should buy a few pairs that I can fit now or just make do with what I have since surgery is less than two months away and I wouldn't be in them long after (most likely). What do you guys think should I just wait and make do with the few jeans and shirts I have or should

I get a few to get by until it's time to go down a size or two or three...

I wouldn't buy anything now. It's amazing how soon things start getting loose!

Plus 5 pairs of jeans sounds like a lot to me!

If you really need a pair, go to a thrift store. No point spending full cost on a pair of pants that won't fit you for long.

Thank you both... I knew I could hold out but sometimes you just need to hear an answer from other people for reassurance
