I was sleeved 12/22/16 and I've weigh 196 so down 58 lbs since surgery. I also have noticed the slow down on weight loss, but I have started exercising and I will keep doing what I'm doing.

I was sleeved on December 22nd 2016. Starting weight 200lbs at surgery 195lbs and now 153 lbs. I've been stuck there for over a month and a half. It's very discouraging. I still can't eat the required amount of food, having a hard time with that. I can primarily eat healthy Snacks rather than meals. I'm losing a lot of hair, and I have been having the worst bowel issues. Severe pain....

Then there is something I am seriously doing wrong. I was sleeved in 2/21/16 I weighted 311 and I went down to 280 now I am back up to 287. I always feel hungry and while I know I don't eat more then a child I KNOW I am eating more then a 1/2 cup of food. I was walking two to four miles a day. Now I go to the gym four to five days a week I have no idea what I am doing wrong. And help would be great!

Maybe you're gaining muscle? Are you measuring yourself? I'm sure you're losing inches. I was sleeved 12/6/16 and going through a stall weight loss wise but my inches are coming off!

Do you weigh your food. I only weigh out 4 ounces. Mostly I can finish it but feel full other times I can't finish it. Are u drinking at the same time you are eating ?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
