I'm almost 6 weeks post RNY and my weight loss has been extremely slow. My Surgeon has me at a goal of losing 6-7Kgs per Month so that I reach my goal weight in about 10 months. Since my last appointment with her which was 15 days back I have lost only 2Kgs.
On top of that I read that weight loss slows down after 3 months and 6 months. I'm already slow if it slows down any further it will be virtually non-existent. This has put me into severe depression. I've been crying my eyes out . How will I reach my goal weight?
Did anyone experience the same initially but they were still able to reach their goal weight within a year from surgery? I still have 47 Kgs to lose!!!
