Liquid diet

I have been on my liquid diet 4 days now surgery is March 1st. I'm so scared. I slipped and ate some chicken last night. I was doing so good until I was asked to cook last night for my girls and my husband. I know I shouldn't have but nobody is perfect. Has anyone post or Pre op gone through this? I tried so hard but my mind took over and won. I regret that I did it.

Just get back on it & stay focused. If cooking is going to make you fall off the wagon don't cook. Family needs to be supportive. This is probably the hardest thing I ever did. 2 week fast was hard. As long as you don't cheat again you'll be fine. Good Luck

Thanks@kempermorris. I honestly felt so bad I was so angry with myself. I will not do it again surgery is so close. No one was here with me after my husband went to work but my 4 year old daughter she doesn't understand what's going on. I need self control [emoji30]

My surgery is in the morning. (Yay).
I am recently a single mother to a 5 year old. I live in south LA where all the flooding took place in August so our lives have been turned upside down in the past 6 months. I've slipped on my liquid diet. It happens. We are human. Don't feel bad about it. :)
Just know this is a legit mental thing from here on out.

Good luck to you all. My surgery is Wednesday. I will not slip again. I haven't been tempted to eat anything since day 3 or 4. I'm doing much better now.
