You are down as pre op but I guess you have had the surgery.

How far out are you?

Are you sipping or gulping Water?

What food phse are you on?

Have you tried cold water, room temp water, hot water?

Water hurt going down for me at first too. Even though i was taking very small sips. Eventually i discovered that drinking cold water was too painful. Before surgery i could only drink cold water, now i can only do room temperature water. It'll probably take you a while but the sensation does get better after a while. Good luck!

I was sleeved Tuesday Feb 28. And water still hurts going down. I am trying so hard to get in 64oz

I am having this problem too. I was sleeved on Feb. 28th and even the smallest sip causes immediate cramping followed by lots of burping. Where is this air in my tummy coming from?

It will get easier every day to drink your water. At the beginning, you'll need to sip constantly all day to make sure you meet your water goals. Meeting water and protein goals is really a full-time job in the beginning!
