Hi there not sure if this is normal or not but I have pcos and surgery was on the 7th. On the 8th (yesterday) the dr took me off metformin based on my bloodwork. I was shocked

Im off metformin as well and doing great without it. I struggled on the liquid diet. I had to drink 5 shakes a day, but some days i still felt hungry. I did cheat a couple times and ate a slice of cheese and a piece of grilled chicked once. I told my surgeon about it before surgery and ge said I was still ok for surgery. I guess I had some good cheats :-)

I am 13 days post op and I am already noticing a decrease in my huritism. My skins is clearer. I believe my insulin resistance is under control.

Yay! That's great. You give me hope [emoji1373]

That is hard. I was fortunate that my mother in lae lives with me and does most of the cooking. I stayed out of the kitchen as much as possible, but my husband eat junk food in front of me all the time. Thats a steuggle, but the fear of dumping keeps me on track.

That's awesome I have my surgery on Monday and can not wait! How did u do on the liquid diet? I'm struggling horribly

I was on the liquid diet for a week before the 7th
