Disappointed

I never thought I would feel this way!!! I just left my two weeks post surgery follow up and only down 10lbs. Talk about super disappointed!!!! I am Literally in tears. I used to be 400lbs and have been on diets all my life and lost at a rate alot faster then this. I am trying to stay motivated and continue this path but so hard when you see others lose close to 20lbs in the same time frame. Please tell me this will get better!!!

Trust the process

I've read a lot about sleeved surgery please don't be discouraged. Just stay faithful to your plans and u will see the wt come off. I got sleeved weds feb 22. Today. The nurse weighed me and I gained 2 pounds. Which did not surprise me for all of the other sleeved people and gastrectomy people that I have read about. I think the main goal is to stay focused and you will see the weight coming off eventually it's just gonna take a little bit of time. Patients please

You can do this!!! Every diet you've done where you've lost more obviously wasn't a good one because it didn't stick. You want to do this the RIGHT way so you never have to be 400lbs again. You didn't put the weight on in two weeks, it can't all go away in two weeks. I'm with you, girl! I want it GONE now! But, we work hard, stay determined, & motivate each other when we're feeling down. That's the only way to get the job done. Chin up! You'll be happy you did this. Good luck!

Don't give up stick to your plan. My first month was slow especially compared to my pre op diet. However I'm like 6 months out and 134 pounds down and maintaining. Keep your eye on the prize and you will get there I lost very slow that first month
