I have read a lot about hair loss but my question is.....has anyone gotten their hair highlighted while it was falling out?

I want to get mine cut and highlighted like I usually do but it is falling out so much right now that I am afraid to. Also any ideas how long before it stops falling out?

I've kept coloring mine throughout the falling out process.

At about 4 months it stopped for me. I have long thinner hair with a halo of a bunch of 2 inch or shorter hairs around my head.

My hair dresser has been pretty great through it all.

I'm going to color my hair soon--though it hasn't really started falling out yet. A very small amount; a few strands at a time only.

Maybe I'm getting enough Protein. I feel like I'm eating nothing, however. I'm full after one "tall" steamed milk.
