Stomach virus or food poisoning

What do you recommend I do if I think I have a stomach virus or food poisoning? Do I ride it out, like I used to with a whole stomach or do I need to call my doctor and get to a hospital? Has anyone had a stomach virus or food poisoning since being sleeved?

I think it just depends on how far out you are. If your profile is correct, you should be fine to ride it out as long as your symptoms aren't worsening, you don't have a too high fever, etc. etc. Basically, nothing is different once you're past a certain point (from my understanding, typically 30 days).

Just be very careful that you don't become dehydrated.

My own opinion is that if you do, you need to contact your GP or hospital asap. Hope you feel better soon!!

Thank you all for your advice. I do feel totally dried out, but I think the worst is over. I'm able to down ice chips. If I feel I need to go to hospital for an IV, I will. Best wishes to you all.
