Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris

Hi

I have decided to get the procedure done - just have to save up for it. I live in uk and want to go to Brussels as it seems cheapest and safest there. Anyone know of the above?

Thanks

hi everyone,

I would like to ask you for advice, sorry for changing subject but it is very important and time factor in an issue. As I mentioned before I am with a group of other nurses in the redeployment process due to closure of hospital I work in now.

we r closing in few days exactly on thursday 31 March 2011. Group of us nurses including myself still have not got post and we feel discriminated during all that redeployment process. I dont want to go to many details because is complicated. The reason I sharing that with you all is that perhaps somebody was in similar situation(being discriminated or feeling that being disciminated).Maybe somebody can help me with complaining, we a bit lost in that whole situation, very stressed out, confused, scared at times but from the other hand we all know the whole process was very poorly handled. Our boss says that they followed redeployment policy and they can sleep peacfully at night( would you believe that).

I would be so greatful for any help suggestions or even contacts with competent people to possibly help us.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

blondynurse

Are you members of a Union?

Is there a Union rep you could touch base with?

Perha[ps Citizens Advice Bureau or a solicitor that specialises in Employment law and offers free 30 minute consultations

Thereare lots of Independent Human Resource Administrators around have you done an internet search for one of these who may be able to give you Independent advice?

I belonged to a teaching union when it happened to me so didn't have to search for this.

Perhaps ACAS can give you some advice as to whether you have a case for unfair dismissal.

Take care and try to stay positive I now how difficult this is. If you want to email me then do mummiesbirthbuddy at yahoo dot co dot uk

Take care

Claire x

sorry blondy dont know anythng about all that hun but claire's advice sound great hope you get sorted out.jo jo have you heard back of freddy yet hun xx

thank you all for support.

yes I am a member of trade union but we all dont know what we pay the money for every month, so far they are usless. As far as they are concerned the whole process has been followed by redeployment policy and that's all matters to them. I thought about ACAS myself so tomorrow morning first thing I will be busy making phone calls.

I also thought I can seek advice from Industrial Tribunals and see if there is any slight chance of fighting it.

thank you all again and I will keep in touch,

blondynurse

yes I had one last year .Only problems with it.

Banderosion, diabetes, high blood pressure and three operations in 1 year.

Next month bypass, my last hope??

Hey all,

I just thought I'd come on here for a catch up, it's been a while!

I hope you are all doing well on your weight loss journeys, the old and the new folks.

Personally I'm doing rubbish! Had an emergency de-fill last November as I was having real problems not being able to even get water down / reflux etc.

It was such a relief not to feel constantly ill, I guess I filled my face... a LOT!

I've put on about a stone since end of November and really need to get back on it. I've just sent Freddy boy an email to enquire when he's next in Manchester.

I'll try to make more of an effort to come on here from time to time, it's been such a lot of help to me in the past.

Jo.

Hi Blondynurse,

hope I'm not to late with my reply. If you are qualified you could get in touch with the governing body - NMC. They have a legal department that should be able to advice you.

You could call the RCN and ask their advice even if your not a member they may help you if you jump sides. I have never had to use them so cant talk from experience.

Hope you get some joy.

Good luck

yes I was operated by DR. Chris.

did he say why it eroded so soon judy, what other probs did you have with your band and where are you getting bypass done, hope im not being too nosey x

Hi all,

not been on for ever as couldnt find the link for ages! Not liking this new layout. Anyway doing Ok with my bandy friend, a bit tight after my last fill but will get a defill if it doesnt settle down. Great to see some of the old members still on and doin well-congratulations. Lost 79lbs myself which is amazing to me. I feel like a different person. Would recommend the band to everyone but takes some commitment too. Keep working at it and good luck.xx

Hi All

Hope everyone is well? Nice to see some old faces have been posting again too.

So I've managed to lose 7lb since seeing the doc 2 weeks ago, just a stone to go now til she will do the referral letter, yipee!

Have a funny week with the band, 4 days on liquids only due to constant sliming and mouthfulls of saliva, not sure what that was, but seems to have passed now thankfully.

Had a little glass of champers, yum, last night to celebrate after getting a big promotion at work, and hit the 6 and a half stoneloss mark too so was one very happy girlie yesterday!

Today I have been having a mega clearout of me clothes, and getting into lots of lovely bits that have been stuck in suitcases for yonks in the hope that one day I would get into them, but actually some are now too big. Time to go shopping soon for sure cos these bony little shoulders can't hold up size 20 tops anymore!

Just realised when updating my ticker that I am just 3lbs off of losing 4 stone since the last fill in November which is fabulous, and 30lbs off of the goal weight I originally set myself of 11 and a half stone. So wierd to think that that really isn't far away now.

Keep up the good work everyone

Take care

C xx
