  15. if my memory serves me well i think i was eating the same as you hun,so just hold out for a wee bit longer lol,but yes you start to feel hungry again as your band is empty on your first fill you will get i think its 3ml,then the second you get about 2.5 and i personally think anythink after these two fills your band really starts to work but good luck hun xx

  19. ps forgot to say you have to give yourself injections after op,they are given to you,and honestly dont hurt at all im needle phobic and had to do my own and they arnt bad at all just grab a bit of fat on your tummy and pop it in all wil be great xx
  20. just travel light especially if your on your own, like i was cause your quite tender,i took a portable dvd player and movies to watch and just rested most of the day in my bed lol, when you get to the hospital your taxi normally come around 6 i got the hotel to waken me at 5.30 so i could shower, when you arrive go in the hospital and to the right is a waiting room you take a ticket and sit and wait until your number is called, then they sort you out and you go up to the wards, were you meet chris debruyne for a quick run over surgery, you then get into you gown and put your white surgical stockins on ready for surgery i got a time for my surgery not everone does thou,i asked for a pre med tablet of the nurse to calm me down as i panic about everything, and bear in mind when they come and take you form the ward you think this is is,its not you go to a waiting room in the surgery but it dosnt take that long and before you know it your waking up in recovery depending on how you cope,if your not coping well they give you morphine otherwise you just get a strong painkiller lol good luck and believe me when you wake up after surgery yes you are sore but the next day the pain halves and isnt that bad and its deffo worth it hun, cant wait to see how you get on,ps there is wifi if you want to take a pc xx
  21. hi mini me firstly dont forget your pasport or they wont do it hun you need it for id,i just went in loose clothing jogging bottoms and a baggy t shirt as you bloat and a pair of crocs, for the hospital i just had a wee bag with toiletries and a hand towel, thats all you need hun because your out of it most of the day after op,well i was and the next morning i just put back on the clothes i went in,because you wear one of their gowns for surgery so no need for pjs,and the next day back at the hotel i just drank water and took pain killers which they give you take a mug because the ones in the hotel arnt any good, and you could take a couple of milkshakes incase you get hungry but you wont lol and maybe some windeeze incase you get trapped wind i never but some peeps did good luck hun any more questions just ask
  22. well done big daddy, the support is brilliant and dosnt it eel good to see the weight comming off, well done hun,and nat dont worry too much everyone is different i have lost the same amount of weight as you and i was banded in july 2010 slow and steady is good,i know with myself it can sometimes take 6 weeks before i see even a couple of pound if im lucky but i go up and down all the time,im not that worried i just feel better at the size i am now instead of nearly 17 stone lol,im planning off having a 1ml defill so i can eat more as somedays i can only eat chocolate as that is all that will go down so i eat it just for some energy, and ive started taking vitamin b and spa tone lol hope it will help with energy and hair lol
