Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris

Recommended Posts

Hi. I'm sure she said its fifty pound. Then there will be dr Chris fee of approx £80

£80?

I just called up to make an appt for a fill and they told me £100 and I said it's supposed to be £80, and he said 'well, you know how it is'...

I cant get hold of Julie, so I called the London number of 0208 1444 254. Was that wrong?

Ihavent yet had a fill in Dr Chris's office so I dont really know what Im doing. Will I have to have a barium swallow aswell??

Just thought id let you know, i have been to London and Cardiff for a fill because they are both about the same distance from my house. London is £80 and Cardiff was £100 They said something about it costs them more to travel to any where other than London so thats why its more expensive.

Hope this helps x

Thanks Jo jo. The chap did ask me where I want to be filled, and I did say London. He also seemed a little vague too, so I'm glad I called Julie's number again

Do you think I need to take anything with me? I cant find any of my paperwork from Dr Chris

Hello all

So update had 2mls removed from band and can finally eat! Hooray!!!!

Managed 3 pirces of 1/2 inch sized chicken nawabi plus a spoon of rice & onion bhaji last night - amazing! Plus seeded bread with phili for Breakfast this morning with cup of coffee.

We have been brave this evening & ventured out for a family meal at Frankie & Benny's having a childrens meal my oldest has had the adult option. Managed part of a bacon steak, a little of the jacket potato, a few Beans. Really want to try the egg but feel very full!

A positive move to have a defill! I've used all my fat reserves up so it was time to have a rest!

Have a good weekend

Hello

How do you all get on with jacket pots? Really didn't have a good experience after eating it last night! Do you still mash it up and make it very soft?

Thanks

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing good.

I'm sorry I havent been on for some time, its all doom and gloom. My dear mother passed away in November at home peacefully, I was with her, but I have had a hard time adjusting.

I had a de-fill just after as for 5 weeks I had been sleeping sitting up, because of reflux. I felt really drained, looking after Mum, not sleeping etc, so thought I would have a lot out and a rest from the band.

Wish i hadnt bothered as I have been comfort-eating and have put on such a lot of weight, about 10kilos,

Fill booked for 9th feb. I also found a lump in my boob, had a biopsy and get the results on Friday.

I told the surgeon if it is the big C then I want both off and new pert 16 year old boobs. he laffed and said he could do that if I didnt smoke anymore. I gave up in August so that hasnt helped my weight gain.

Sorry to be such a misery, but needed to share. love to all xxx

Ohh Freckles

So sorry to hear your sad news about your mum. Very hard when we are the carers and with them until the end. I understand as I was with my grandmother when she passed away.

Do hope the biopsy results are ok and it'snot the big C.

Take it easy on yourself and don't worry about the gain (that's the beauty of the band)

Let us know how you get on with the hospital.

Take care and look after yourself.

Hi everyone, Been offline for months now, but finally back and starting to lose weight again. I couldn't get a fill for a couple of years due to living in Saudi at the moment but managed to get to London last week for a 0.75ml fill which was unbelievable and has given me complete restriction! So in two weeks i have lost a stone and now have 28lbs to go. Does anyone have any comments on their experiences of full restriction? I'm not sure if it's too tight or the best routine to get into x

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
