Was wondering about milk and cereal

I was wondering if we are able to have milk in our cereal since we aren't supposed to have liquid with our food. Would that be the same for that as well? Also, trying to find out how many calories we are supposed to be having for the first 6 weeks or until our first fill? Thanks!

Our nutritionist says you can have milk on your cereal but eat the cereal and then save the milk later to drink during your liquid phase.

all liquids - we were told 500 caloires

puree/mushie food - we were told 800 calories

soft adaptive foods - we were told 800 to 1000 calories

solids - 1200 calories

etc.

Thank you! That is good to know! That would be horrible to not eat cereal ever again! I love cereal and milk. So I will just have to put a little bit of fat free milk on it. :clap2:

Yeah, a friend of mine that was banded...munches on cheerios if she's hungry throughout the day. Dry cheerios at that! LOL
