Nails or no nails

Hello

I have acrylic nails. When I was scheduled for the surgery last year they told me that as long as the meter could read my heart rate I do not need to remove them. But she said it probably would be best to take them off. Anyone leave them on during surgery?

    mine can stay on. I was able to wear the finger monitor with a full set and nail polish on friday when they did my scope. No issues,

    I normally wear a medium length nails, but decided to cut them short for the surgery. Got them done last night, just felt that it would be better to have short nails during the procedure.
