Nicholson Clinic/ Dr Roshek, Plano, Tx

Hello..again lol.

I'm in the pre surgery process wirh Dr. Roshek of the Nicholson Clinic and have met all requirements that the surgeons office has asked of me and my insurance requirements as well. That was a week ago. I wanted to know if anyone has gotten surgery done with the Nicholson Clinic and if and how did they notify you that your documentation had been submitted to your insurance and how long did it take for them to submit the documentation after meeting all requirements.

This is not restricted to just the nicholson patients. Everyone is welcomed to reply. I'm just trying to get a better understanding on how all of this works and what time frame I should expect

TIA

Hello! I'm from Texas, also! I didn't go through that clinic, but I think it took my insurance about ten days to say "YES!"

I would call and ask the insurance coordinator if/when it was submitted to your insurance.

Once you know it was submitted you can call your insurance directly to check the status.

Hi there! I'm having surgery at Plano Med Center on Thursday. I'm not sure specifically how the Nicholson Clinic does things, but I know that my surgeon's office submitted my paperwork on Fri morning (Dec 9th) and by that same evening, my insurance sent me an approval letter email. From others I have spoken to, that is very rare. I would call to find out when it was submitted then call your insurance to make sure things are processing as they should. Good luck with everything!
