3 months - Hair Loss Post-Op

Hi all, Did anyone have more than normal hair loss around 3 months post op? I heard does happen. If have, did your hair eventually change back to the way your hair was & if so about how long til you noticed you were losing hair as much? Anything help also? Thanks.

Between months 3-6 I lost more than half of my hair. My hair prior to this was very thick and full. It's now thin. I did not notice any help in the hair loss process with Biotin. It was falling out like mad and I was really scared of going bald. A year out from when it stopped and it has finally grown to my shoulders. It is growing back curlier than before. I actually got it cut today, something that I was scared to do. It's cut above my shoulders to get rid of the dead hair.

This sucks for me since I already have naturally thin hair. Although it could be attributed to being overweight, stress, depression -- everything else I've got... which is this a catch-22 now that I've had wls, things might just get worse for my hair? I've been taking hair, skin, and nail vitamins for some months pre-op in hopes to build up a store of vitamins and will keep taking these and praying my hair doesn't get worse.
