@sunsetsue Yayyy! You did it! The worse is over! YOU DID IT ! :)

Good job .. I had my operation yesterday too (Sydney time australia). so closer to you...

having cramping pain on and off. but walking will make it better... just need to persist with water intake.

we will see how it will go

I had my surgery yesterday too!! :) I feel pretty good--thanks to the drugs. The worst it's over, time to get on with this journey. *high fives all around to my fellow December sleevers*

Don't be shy to ask for more painkillers. You can have patient controlled analgesia if you ask for more analgesia. I still have severe stomach spasms and tightness that comes and goes pretty bad with every sip of liquid. But it goes away after 5min. Didn't try anything other than water and apple juice mixed.

It will get better.

Oh sunsetsue so sorry you are in pain. If you are still in the hospital, ask the nurse for pain medication. Ask for GasX also, as the pain may be gas related. Don't sit in pain.

I came home yesterday, and they gave me oxycodone to take home. I did not much meds so I am just doing Tylenol.

Hi sunsetsue, I hope you're feeling better. Last night I had grumpling discomfort. Panadol syrup and oxycodone are such pain to swallow. But I managed to drink water despite the pain.
