Hi Mandy! Good luck to you! I went down to Tjiuana and was sleeved by Dr. Illan. I'm feeling great postop. The incisions are small and the experience was excellent. You will be fine! Who is doing your surgery?

Are you having to take a lot of pain meds? What are they giving you for pain and is it on a pump?

Dr. Cabrera did mine Oct 3. Pain is minimal. Was on pained for 3-4 days post op and its just a souped up Tylenol. Went shopping 2 days post op in Tijuana. Take with you some gasx strips and bought 2 bottles of pepcid at rx in Tijuana. God bless you.

I'm a lil anxious too but look forward to saying I'm free of this bondage that being overweight has held me in for the past 15 years. It's time to be me again.

No, pain stopped after day 2. Initially right after surgery I was on an IV and they would come by and give me pain meds every couple of hours or so. When I felt pain I would call on them for more.

After going home, I have been sore at times but there's not a thing Tylenol can't help. They gave me antibiotics and anti-gas medication. So far so good.
