Help! Banded in 2010 somethings wrong!

Hey y'all I was banded in 2010. I reached my goal weight years ago (133) from 268 I haven't had a fill in over a year. Now all the sudden I'm puking up mucus every morning, I puke when I drink and I can not eat at all! I'm living off Protein shakes and I've lost another 10 pounds! My doc is out of town til next week!! What should I do! Any help thanks

Did they check to make sure you aren't dehydrated?

I had that happen last month.... out of the blue my band tighten up.... are you under any stress? my dr said sometimes it just happens.... so he unfilled me and i fell much better. I went and got 2cc back in and so far so good.... going back this week for a few more to get me back at restriction.....

do what your doing with the liquids... drink it slowly...

@@Love like winter I had not had a fill in two years.... it just happens sometimes.... Please go and get an unfill.... ASAP. You will feel so much better....

I did the same out of the blue i got tight... my dr contributed it to some of the stress i/am going through.

and yes... i had my yearly check up...

I'm sure I can get Fluid out, but I haven't had a fill in over a year. I've had no problem til now, it's like I have to much mucus..

If not at my clinic I know of 3 other Lapband clinics

The band has been called many things through the years, including "The Fickle Bittch." It may do its part of the job beautifully for quite a spell, and then go too tight or the opposite. I hope this isn't news to you. Too much gooey stuff coming up may be the result of a band that's gone too tight.

You don't say how long this has been going on, but, if I were you, I wouldn't want to wait until next week to see my doctor. Call the office and see who's there and what they suggest. If you get the answering service, they'll have whomever is covering cal you.
