Vitamin Patch Placement

Recommended Posts

For those that are on the vitamin patches where do you find the best success placing them? I've been putting them on my lower back but within a few hours they've gone missing Lol.

They can be squirrelly little buggars. Lol. I put mine under my bra on the side. This seems to hold them in place and keep them undisturbed. I also had some success with the bottom of my feet.

Never considered the bottom of my feet...gotta try that one. I have one on my boob now HAHAHA!. It's the on that fell off this morning so I just stuck it in my bra. It's staying tight so I think I'll keep doing the bra method ????...Thanks!

I put my multi Vitamin patch on my upper arm, where a shot is typically given, but wear it overnight in my pjs. During the day I put my vit. B12 in various places. Shoulder, butt, lower back. Once I placed it over a tattoo and got a rash.

I read somewhere to tape edges with surgical tape or put a band-aid over the patch.< /p>

Does it seem like the Patches are doing the trick? Are you getting the full dose of Vitamins you need?

I put mine on the tops of my shoulders, so that my bra strap rests on top of them and helps hold them in place. Seems to work well for me - I had the same problem with them falling off in a matter of hours when I tried putting them on my hips or lower back.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
