Hi Everyone....
I'm still learning this site and reading so much about everyone's success which is a HUGE motivator for me.
I'm scheduled for Gastric Sleeve surgery on 11/8 and couldn't be more excited. i'm currently on my pre-op diet and I have to admit that it hasn't it been too bad. My doctor doesn't require a total liquid, only two Protein shakes a day plus high protein dinner which usually includes 4 oz. chicken/fish/turkey with a vegetable. I drink tons of Water and sugar free Jello (if need be) should I get hungry throughout the day. My doctor also allows me to have broth. With Halloween being yesterday, I did struggle with the candy bowl sitting there, so I gave in and had two small pieces of chocolate. After that I bagged up the remainder of the candy so my husband could take it to work with him so it is no longer in the house. Like they say, if it isn't in the house or you don't buy it, it won't be there to eat.
I know after next week, we won't have these issues as we have completely cleaned out our fridge and pantry. Healthy lifestyle here I come.
I'm looking forward to meeting people here and making true connections with others that have had or are going to have the same procedure I am and will be able to offer their advice
Have a wonderful night everyone
