    Fatigue

I was sleeved on 10/20/16 and was. Rey fatigued for 4-6 weeks. I did go out and walk every day though. What you are feeling is normal as your body is healing and adjusting to the "new normal." It DOES get better! I no longer have that fatigue. Hang in there! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm also doing good. My sleeve was done on 10/20/16. I am down 35 lbs so far. Actually lost one pound over the holidays which I am thrilled about. At least I didn't gain! SW 205 CW 170. My goal is around 140. I am now back on track for further weight reduction. Happy New Year everyone! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    When to start logging food?

Hi Stephanie. I had me WLS on 10/20 and did not start logging my food until two days ago. I am currently on puréed foods until next Tuesday. I use MyFitnessPal app. It was eye opening to see that I'm not eating enough. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Multivitamins

I was just placed on Bariatric Advantage dissolvable capsules. They break down in your throat - you can't feel it. Also a Calcium citrate chew. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    2 week liquid diet.

My dr prescribed famitodine (Pepcid) which helps most of the time. Also he just started me on a multi Vitamin and chewable Calcium. That is supposed to cost the stomach. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App *coat the stomach Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Anxiety and depression

I had that regretful thought "what have I done?!" The two days after surgery but it really does get better. I am a little over 3 weeks out from surgery and down 21 lbs. THAT is my motivation! When friends and family ask how I am, I always say "Better than the day before" because that's the truth! It does get better!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I am 4'11" and weighed 197 at surgery date of 10/20/16. I am now 175 but I haven't been recording anything I eat or drink. What are you all using to record what you ingest? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    It gets better!

I'm 3 weeks post op and on puréed foods now. I keep saying each day is better than the day before. Hardest for me is my energy level. But down 21 pounds so far and that keeps me motivated. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. I started puréed foods this week and made the Ricotta Bake. I'm loving it! Thanks for posting the recipe. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. Had my sleeve done on 10/20. Week two of full liquids was torture as I also desperately wanted to chew something! I ended up having a little small curd cottage cheese that second week with no ill effects. Yesterday I graduated to puréed foods. I am so excited! Hang in there you can do this too! Desperate times

I joined this site right before my sleeve on 10/20/16 and have learned SOOOO much from so many of you. The biggest thing is that no one experiences this journey exactly the same but there are similarities. Please don't get discouraged if you haven't seen weight loss yet. Your body is adjusting to its "new normal." Hang in there!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I was 197 at pre op. Had my sleeve done on 10/20. As of my post op yesterday I am 180. I first started this journey in March when I weighed 207. I am now on puréed foods for 2 1/2 weeks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. They can't tell you no. Check with your HR manager. Personally I didn't reveal to my manager the type of surgery I was having. By law it's none of their business and they are not allowed to ask. I hope it works out for you. Keep pushing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    surgery question

I had my sleeve done on 10/20/16 and had my post op today. Dr says I can go back to work on 11/9 if I am able to work from home. Otherwise I will be on leave until 11/21. My energy level is so low that I can't imagine commuting 2 hours a day and putting in 8 hours at the office. My employer is pretty flexible with wfh policy so we'll see what my manager says tomorrow.
