  4. First night in the hospital was painful getting up to try and go to the bathroom. Day 2 they took me off IV and tried to have me swallow nausea pill. It came right back up. I had bad nausea for two days that I had to do nausea suppositories. That worked really well so I could keep down Clear Liquids. Only needed that for day three. 5. My insurance required 6 months of weigh ins, nutrition evaluation, psychologist eval and blood test for stomach bacteria. I recommend you continually stay in touch with both dr office and insurance. I found out after doing all the requirements and dr submitting surgery date that my insurance required I enroll in the Bariatric Resource Services program they had! I had no idea about this requirement. It delayed my surgery almost 4 weeks. . I am happy to say I had my sleeve surgery on 10/20 and doing fine so far. Stay on top of your insurance company!! Best of luck!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
