Very normal. You really haven't had food lately have you?!

Don't get crazy with the stool softeners yet. Between the anesthesia slowing your bowels and your (lack) of food, not much happening to get it to move.

If you find yourself uncomfortable, constipated pain, take a softener, like Surfac or Miralax. Peri -colace and colace are often recommended by surgeons, too.

They should have given you PO info about this..

Thank you so much Lisa! You're right I haven't eaten any solids I just been on Water, broths and shakes but I am having a little discomfort like I need to empty :(

Try walking more and getting more fluids. My Program suggests baby prunes before going to any RX treatment.
