So I'm looking to do the powder mix for Protein shake bc it seems cheaper then the pre made. Does anyone have a good affordable suggestion for two week pre op diet ???? I see the surgeon tomorrow to find out when my surgery will be!!!

Gene Pro is really good... Tasteless and odorless, at least to me. Check out the reviews on Amazon @@genn

Muscle Milk is pretty tasty and fairly cheap. I add Soy milk to it for an extra 8g of protein since it isn't particularly the highest in protein.

Mayo, Jacksonville, where I am having my bypass requires 2 weeks of Optifast powder, Choc>Van< Straw> prior to surgery. Its expensive at Mayo pharmacy but I found on Ebay. They also gave us several different recipies. I need to drink 5 per day. Also instructed to drink warm Water & bullion cube if I get dizy. 17 days begins my new life!

I am using Bariatric Advantage. The vanilla flavor has 27 grams Protein, 7 grams carbs, 1.5 grams fat and 150 calories per 8 oz serving. I actually do not find the taste offensive as I do other high protein Meal Replacements. I buy on Amazon for $63 for 35 servings. I have the chocolate flavor as well and that is also good. I was told that after surgery I could add powdered milk to up the protein. Not sure how that would taste!

Order some samples, I got Syntrax samples online in a ton of different flavors, got a few kinds of ready made shakes, etc and I am trying different things. Some I have loved and some I have gagged down but I'm glad I did that because now I know which to spend my money on
