2 weeks post RNY and have a 'stitch' in my side

Hi all

I'm 2 weeks post surgery and apart from being on day 4 of a stall which is rather early(??) I seem to have this feeling of having a stitch on my right hand side. I feel it more when I sit.... not sure if I should be worried.

Any ideas or similar experiences on both?

Tia ????

I had my first stall during weeks 2 and 3 post-surgery. It broke during week 4 - and I immediately dropped 6 or 8 lbs (within a couple of days)

Shew ok that makes me feel better!!

If you feel anything is wrong or you just don't feel right contact your surgeon and or his nurse. If for nothing else peace of mind.

It's felling a bit better and have an appointment on Friday so will monitor closely x

I'm almost 3 months out and I still feel pulling on the sutures inside. Doc told me it is completely normal. And as far as the stall, you're still healing. I didn't really start to drop until over 2 weeks out (swelling and such can prevent it). I started my 2 week liquid diet on July 18 with surgery on Aug 4 and as of today, I am 2.5 lbs away from being down 60 lbs! Don't worry, you'll get there! I did the same worry thing but quickly learned from doc and people on here that you must be patient and let yourself heal. Also, increasing Protein to at least 60g per day increases weight loss! Get good protein packed shakes.
