    Lost desired for food

I still after a year only eat 800 to 850 calories a day. You are right it is HARD. You can only do what you can do. No one can ask more than that of us not even ourselves. Praying for all.

    Lost desired for food

Gastric bypass on October 3 2016. I hated both the smell of and the taste of food. It lasted for about four months. The downside is that you don’t meet your protein goals and you may loose your hair. Food tasted sweet to me. Even if you hate to eat you must. I don’t think you can have popcorn. Ask you Nut. Good luck and follow your program and you will get past this phase.

    Stall

Very well said. We need to stop focusing on the stall and work the program. The weight will come off if you work the program. Good luck to everyone.

    Afraid to die?

The first 3 days after surgery was painful. I just wanted my meds and to sleep but you need to walk and slip Water as much as you can. Very early 3rd day they toke away the meds I could give to myself so I was more awake still in pain stile walking and sipping. Day four I leave hospital late about 7:30 because my blood pressure was low but it equaled out and I came home. I hurt coming up the steps but I held tight to my pillow no my stomach. You must have a pillow, HEATING pad and abdomen binder. Everyday I get better and with less pain. Today I had no meds and I'm doing fine. Oh after I went to doctor and he remove my staples and draining pouch I was doing good. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
